Inherent from my father is my sense of being able to see humor in almost everything, however events of this week contain no humor whatsoever. I'd just like to say a couple things...I'm very proud that young people like Amy and Mary Perdue and Matt McDonald read my website and are so eloquent in expressing their thoughts of this tragedy. There is nothing I can add to what they have already said. I would like to encourage each of you to visit the two links below, one is the National Prayer and the other is a poem written about this horrific event. I think that together they cover all our thoughts and prayers at this time.
National Prayer Shining In The Dark

Everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend these services in honor of our national catastrophe.
In the midst of all that's going on, we still have our local news and some "good" news is so nice to report.
Apologies to the Beaver Island soccer team...I forgot to post the scores of their games last weekend against Grand Marais.
Friday's game was 19 - 1...........Islander's win
Saturday's game was 21 -1........Islander's win
