The Class of 2008 graduated on Saturday, June 7, 2008, in a ceremony held at Holy Cross Hall. The program began with the entry down the aisle by the presenters followed immediately by the seniors entering one by one in alphabetical order to "Pomp and Circumstance" performed on the hall piano by Loraine Dawson..

The junior class Honor Guard stood on both sides of the aisle holding yellow roses which were presented to the seniors after all were at the front of the hall just below the stage. The seniors then presented the roses to their family members in the front few rows of the hall. The senior then advanced up the stairs to their respective seats on the stage where they listened to their class song, "Peaches and Cream" by the John Butler Trio.

Kevin Gillespie asked everyone to rise for the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

Ms. Kathleen McNamara then walked up the stairs and onto the stage to provide the Welcome to all present.
Ms. McNamara welcomes all attendees.
Samantha Kuligoski, graduating with honors,Cum Laude, introduced the Class Salutatorian.

Andrea Moore gave the Salutatorian Speech which involved the audience in a audience participation exercise. "Those people who were born to the island, who enjoy being here, please stand up.-People who moved here and have stayed because this island is delightful, please stand up.-People who visit the island because they love it here for the people, places, and everything the island stands for, please stand up.-And finally family and friends who came today to support us graduates, to be apart of this transition, please stand up. Eric Albin next took the podium to introduce the Class Valedictorian.
Brenden Martin, Class Valedictorian, Suma Cum Laude, spoke about the good times and the bad times.
Brittany Crandall introduced the Commencement Speaker
Beth Croswhite, the Commencement Speaker spoke about "Opening the Doors" to your future.
The presentation of diplomas followed the Commencement Address. The diplomas were presented to the students in alphabetical order by Mrs. Nancy Tritsch, Secretary of the Board of Education; Mrs. Gail Weede, Trustee of the Board of Education; and Kathleen McNamara, Superintendent/Principal.
The seniors then rose to their feet and at the direction of Dan Runberg completed the "Turning of the Tassels."
The senior then recessed out the aisle of the Holy Cross Hall, again to "Pomp and Circumstance."
The seniors gathered on the porch and steps of the hall to shake hands and give hugs to community members and family members.
There followed four separate graduation parties schedule throughout Saturday afternoon and early evening as well as one on Sunday afternoon.
