2011 November 26 Snowy Owl Pictures and Video

Thanks again to Kurt Smith for letting me know the owl was back on Boat Company property.

This snowy owl didn't seem too concerned with the presence of the photographer, but once again a noisy vehicle on Donegal Bay Road startled the owl.

Getting ready to take flight...

The owl took off moving closer and closer to the ground and then up and away....Yes, it was raining and the droplets are flying off the owl as it takes off!

and then the owl landed on the roof of the school.....

 

 

Another beautiful sight to see in nature....

Joddi and Beth Croswhite were shown the snowy owl, and they walked over toward the school with their dog, and the owl did not seem the slightest bit concerned. Quite an interesting adventure on this Saturday, November 26, 2011.
